At the prestigious Silk Route International Wine Competition, which took place in Beijing, the Yatir wines were highly praised by well know wine experts from around the globe, including Masters of Wine journalists & wine buyers.
The ongoing exposure of Yatir wines China is part of its continuous growth in export worldwide.
At the International Forum of the international wine competition the "Silk Route" in Beijing, Dorit Ben Simon the Export Manager, led a professional wine tasting seminar of the Yatir's premium wines. The wine tasting which included the flagship Yatir Forest, received great interest and much acclaim.
The following wines received awards in an accompanying competition:
Gold Medal – Yatir Viognier 2014
Silver Medal – Yatir Syrah 2011
The competition took place in the Fangshan region and 750 wines took part. The team of judges was made up from 50 different countries, with the Silk Route forum event being managed by the Belgian company Vinopres – the innovators of the international Concours Mondial de Bruxelles competition.
