This week, the massive International Wine Exhibition - “Intertwine International Wine & Spirits”, was held in the city of Guangzhou, in the south of China.
Spreading over 600,00 meters with around 700 stands, a total of 72 countries were represented including Israel.
There was a huge success for Israeli wines at their stand and at the 2016 INTERWINE International Wine & Alcohol competition.
An especially prominent contender in the competition was Yatir Merlot Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 which received the Supreme Gold Award.
The competition has three levels of recognition: Supreme Gold Award (7 wines only), Gold Award (29 wines) and Silver Medal (39 wines).
